1. Package

There are two types of galvanized sheets cut to length and galvanized sheets in coils. Galvanized coils are usually packaged in iron sheet, lined with moisture-proof paper, and tied with iron waist. The binding is secure to prevent the inner galvanized sheets from rubbing against each other.

2. Standard sizes

Relevant product standards (below and below) list the recommended standard thickness, length, width and allowable deviation of galvanized sheet. In addition, the width and length of the board and the width of the roll can also be determined according to user requirements.

3. Exterior

Surface condition: The surface condition of galvanized sheet is different due to the different treatment methods in the coating process, such as ordinary spangle, fine spangle, flat spangle, zinc-free spangle, and phosphated surface. The galvanized sheet and galvanized coil cut to length shall not have defects that affect the use (detailed below), but the coil is allowed to have some abnormal parts such as welding parts.

4. Galvanized amount

Standard value of galvanizing amount: The amount of galvanizing is a commonly used effective method to express the thickness of the zinc layer of the galvanized sheet. Galvanized sheets have the same galvanizing amount on both sides (i.e. galvanizing of equal thickness) and different galvanizing amounts on both sides (i.e. different thickness galvanizing). The unit of the amount of zinc plating is g/m2.
